01 Who owns the output?
You do. MISE claims no rights in the frames, clips, cuts or audio produced from your project, and does not train on your material. Locked casting references, look bibles and shot lists are exportable at any time, including after you stop paying.
02 Can I use a real actor’s likeness?
Only with a signed release on file, which the Studio tier records against the character. MISE will not lock a reference that its likeness checks identify as a public figure. For everything else, generated references are the default and belong to your production.
03 What happens when I change a locked reference?
MISE marks every shot generated under the old reference as out of date and gives you the count before you commit. You can re-render them in one pass, or scope the new lock to a sequence and leave the rest alone.
04 Does this replace a crew?
No, and a pitch that says otherwise is not worth taking seriously. It replaces the part of the process where you find out a sequence does not work after you have paid to shoot it. Directors, editors, and sound teams still do the work that matters.
05 What can I take into Resolve or Premiere?
FCPXML, AAF and EDL, with media conformed to your delivery spec. The look bible exports as a LUT so your colourist starts from the same place the frames were rendered from.
06 How is render volume counted?
A frame render is one still at project resolution. A motion clip is one generated shot up to twelve seconds. Re-renders of a killed take are not counted. Unused volume rolls over for thirty days.
07 Is there a way to try it on one scene?
Yes. Every production access request starts with a single scene from your own script, broken down, cast, graded and cut, at no cost. If it does not convince you, there is nothing further to discuss.
